5. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area, to understand how visitors use our Website and to improve its content and functionality.

Where consent for analytics storage has not been granted, Google may operate in a restricted, non-cookie-based manner and may send limited information to Google for purposes such as modelling or measuring Website activity.

Where you grant consent for analytics, Google Analytics may use analytics cookies and process analytics information in accordance with that consent.

The information processed therefore depends on your consent choices and the technical configuration of Google services on the Website.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the Website’s cookie or consent settings.

6. Cookiebot and consent management

We use Cookiebot by Usercentrics as our consent-management platform.

Cookiebot helps us obtain, manage and record your consent choices regarding cookies and similar technologies used on the Website.

Cookiebot may process information necessary to manage your consent, including information relating to your consent choices and technical information associated with your device or browser.

Cookiebot may use necessary cookies or similar technologies to store and manage your consent preferences.

Cookiebot also helps us control optional cookies and similar technologies according to your consent choices.

For more information about Cookiebot and Usercentrics’ privacy practices, please see:

Where you have consented to optional cookies, analytics or other processing for which consent is required.

Where processing is necessary for purposes such as maintaining, securing and improving the Website, provided that our interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR)
Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation applicable to us.

Where you voluntarily contact us, processing may also be necessary to respond to your request or to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies.

These may be used for:

  • essential Website functionality;
  • security and technical operation;
  • storing and managing your privacy and consent preferences; and

You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent through the cookie settings provided on the Website.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Website functionality.

9. Data sharing and service providers

We may share personal data with service providers that process information on our behalf where necessary for operating, securing and improving the Website or providing services to you.

We require processors to process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and our instructions where required by law.

10. International data transfers

Some service providers we use may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on an appropriate legal transfer mechanism under applicable data protection law, such as an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another legally recognised safeguard, where required.

Google and Usercentrics may process information outside the EEA. Information about their privacy practices and international data transfers is available in their respective privacy documentation:

11. How long we keep personal data

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, security or reporting requirements.

For Google Analytics 4, event-level and user-level data is retained for 14 months, in accordance with the data-retention setting configured for our Google Analytics property. After the applicable retention period, this data is automatically deleted by Google Analytics.

Aggregated reporting data may be retained for longer periods because it is not subject to the same event-level data-retention settings.

Consent records and related information may be retained by Cookiebot for the period necessary to document and manage your consent choices and to comply with applicable legal requirements.

Personal data submitted when contacting us is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and, where applicable, for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Technical and security logs may be retained for a different period depending on our hosting and security providers’ configurations.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

13. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that we have processed your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
